What kind of packaging do you need?
- RSC - Regular Slotted Carton:
- The most common carton used by businesses. Flaps meet in the middle and are typically secured with tape.
- OPF - One Piece Folder:
- One piece of board that has a flat bottom, that forms the sides/ends and meets on the top. Commonly used for posters, books, and framed pictures.
- FOL - Full Over Lap:
- Similar to the RSC, except the flaps fully over lap for more protection top and bottom.
- Tele Top + Tele Bottom:
- Typically consist of two trays that telescope/fit over each other to form a complete carton.
- HSC - Half Slotted Carton:
- The bottom of this corrugated carton is the same as a RSC box but with no top flaps. Typical applications include: part bins, file folder boxes, storage boxes etc. A tray can be provided along with this to create a top.
- Partitions/Cells:
- Used to separate products within a carton. Partitions are customized to hold the quantity needed per box.
- 5PF - 5 Panel Folder:
- Just as it is named, this carton has 5 panels. The fifth panel is used to close the carton. Adding more layers for protection.
- Creased Sheet:
- A sheet of corrugated that is creased in just the right spot to fit around your product to add protection.
- TTM - Tuck Top Mailer (Die Cut):
- Just as it is named, this carton tucks into itself, and does not need to be glued.
- Trays:
- Useful for tops and bottoms of pallets and can be used as a display tray. Used for shipping supplies, agricultural packaging, food packaging, produce packaging, and retail displays.
Things to Ponder:
- What's going inside? (size of product & quantity)
- How heavy is my product?
- How many boxes do I need?
- Do I want my logo or any print on the boxes?
- Do I need interior protection for my product? (Foam, Partitions, Pads)
